New Collection by Catherine
New Collection by Catherine

This is a new collection from the artistic hand of Catherine Watson.

Catherine has been a Wearable Artist since the 80's painting on white cotton.  Her medium has been acrylic watered down and painted with an eye dropper...something that is exclusively hers.

Catherine says, "I just love watercolors.  When you make a mistake with acrylic, you have to figure out how to cover it up. With watercolors, you can nearly erase it. This is so much fun!"

Catherine has always had a great eye for colors and color combinations.  It has been more of an instinct rather than something she learned.  She says she can actually see the colors in the colors.

Catherine also has a passion for nature, landscapes and flowers.  She has taken countless pictures and has often taken a picture with a thought of painting it.

C. Watson Originals,  is dedicated to Catherine's new collection of Wall Art.  8"x8", 9"x12", and 11"x14".  All sold unframed, signed and dated.

Thank you for stopping by and have fun DOCORATING YOUR WALLS.

Why buy original Art?

Why you should buy original artwork?

Okay, so you can buy the prints, the limited editions and all that jazz, but for a moment please consider these reasons why buying an original piece of art is something that you should do. Today. Like now. 1. Owning original artwork has a positive effect on the environments of people who own it, which inevitably makes life more enriching.

Why do artworks pop off walls?

Even if the artwork isn’t by a well-known artist, the originality of the piece evokes more of a sense of wealth and personality into your living space. Original artworks have depth – literally. Whether gallery wrapped around stretcher bars or framed for protection, an original artwork will actually pop off the walls

How does art Make you Happy?

Owning original artwork has a positive effect on the environments of people who own it, which inevitably makes life more enriching. Enough said. Happy walls make happy people. Even if your art choices are on the "darker side," your visual enjoyment of it will make you happy and ultimately enrich your life.
